Over the last few two weeks I’ve been doing unpaid commissions for friends and requests on forums for a Manwha that I’ve been reading. (Manhwa ( Hangul: 만화, Hanja: 漫畵 Korean pronunciation: [manhwa]) is the general Korean term for comics and print cartoons) There are a few examples below, I will be posting them to the design page of my portfolio when I finish the current series of backgrounds. One thing you will learn about me when you get to know me is that I love animation and culture and when those two things combine it peaks my interest. I think it's so cool that we can enjoy entertainment from other parts of the world.
Back to the backgrounds, I felt that I needed to keep my Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills up to date. I want to always be versatile. Even if it means creating my own means to make designs. I have also been streaming my process of the background designs. I might start taking those recordings and doing speed up 2 minute process videos that can accompany the designs on my website!
